Turf Care Mission Statement: To renew, preserve, and maintain turf grass in a manner that provides a healthy and robust turf grass growing environment. One that meets our customers needs by planning and executing programs and proceedures that result in a superior outdoor experience as well as protects the environment and aesthetics of our clients properties.

Turf Care Programs
The Nutrients:
This 6-treatment program will provide the core essential nutrients to your lawn to help keep the grass planthealthy. This plan also includes the macro nutrient iron, FE, into your lawn with each application. Iron plays an important role in the development of chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is what makes the leaves green but physiologically it is used to harness sunlight to make sugars. In short, it’s how plants feed themselves. An additional benefit to iron is that it helps to kill mosses that grow in the yard that smother the lawn preventing new grass growth.
Weed Control:
To help control noxious weeds in your lawn we will provide multiple treatments throughout the year as preventative and post emergent measures. Our goal is to keep your property free of as many weeds as we can. Our goal is to provide exceptional care and one we separate ourselves from many other companies by doing two rounds of preventative treatments. Why do we do this? It provides protection longer into the season keeping your investment into your lawn working.
Grub Control:
We choose not to make this an upgrade because this is one of the most important applications lawns need. Grubs can destroy your lawn in a matter of weeks! Often, it’s what you can’t see that gives your lawn a poor and unhealthy appearance. Insects like Japanese beetles and moths grow from such grubs and this application is vital to control these pesky insects from damaging your landscape.
Slow-Release Fertilizer:
Why is having a slow-release fertilizer important? The controlled release of the fertilizer allows for a more even, sustained growth. Many fertilizers of lower quality feed your lawn and create a sudden growth in the lawn but then the nutrients are gone. We like to compare this to the effects of an energy drink. You get the energy while drinking but it isn’t a sustained energy once it passes through our body’s system. Additionally, slow-release fertilizers keep more of the fertilizer in your lawn by reducing runoff from rain.
Soil Amendments: Many turf programs are aimed at treating the turf grass specifically, but do not improve the quality of the soil that your grass grows in. All our programs provide 60+ macro and trace minerals to your lawn. We also include in each treatment Humic, Ulmic, and Fulvic Acids.
Humic Acid Benefits:
Increases soil carbon, improves plant health, improves germination and viability of seeds, and Increases cation exchange capacity (CEC) to Improve the soil structure for better aeration and water movement and nutrient uptake.
Living Biology
In conjunction with providing key nutrients, we take it one step farther! This program also introduces beneficial biology into the soil. Soils with robust beneficial microbes enhances the plants stress resistance and nutrient uptake. The organic matter acts as a natural thatch reducer, destroys toxic substances, pulls pollutants out of the air, digests them, and releases them back into the soil as harmless organic matter. The beneficial biology develops and improves prevention of plant disease. Good soil micro-organisms eat bad fungal soil micro-organisms. Also, collectively the soil can hold only so many micro-organisms, so the good organism will crowd out the bad ones. Furthermore, the bacteria help produce cellulose, a natural glue that helps accumulate organic matter. A 1% increase in organic matter increases the soils watering holding capacity by 25,000 gallons per acre. This increased capacity will help your lawn stay greener longer through those times of drought stress.
PhysioCal
PhysioCal’s® calcium source is 5 times more available than standard limestone products. PhysioCal® is enhanced with Humistim, a Sugar and Carbohydrate complex. Humistim activates naturally occurring microbes in your soil. Increased soil microbes’ populations will result in:
-Increased nutrient retention and uptake
-Improved soil structure
-Better decomposition of organic matter, increasing nutrients available Denser root system

The Turf Rejuvenation Platinum program expands upon the plus program to include timely fungicide preventative treatments and a Growth Regulator will be applied as an aid to reduce excessive growth and increase turf density.
Fungicide: We opt For a more preventative approach, applying fungicide throughout the summer months (or when nightly temperatures rise above 60 degrees) can play a key role in the ongoing health of your lawn. In the case that fungal growth does occur our platinum plan has you protected with a currative fungicide as well.
Did you know that mowing your lawn only 1 time a week during its growing season may actually be what is causing your lawn to thin out? Even worse, we often want our lawns maintained at low heights and we either cut it low ourselves or request our lawn maintenance providers to do it for us. Why would cutting 1 time a week low becausing our lawns to thin? Well, when more than 1/3 of the blade is removed at a time it causes significant stress to the turf grass and actually begins to impair root growth and tillering, which in turn creates less new blade growth and root formation resulting in a thinner lawn.
So then how can we achieve mowing only 1 time a week saftely, not harm the roots, and actaully increase turf density?
Growth Regulators: Since grass can grow anywhere from 3 to 6 inches in a week, Growth Regulators are the only way to slow this growth down so that a lawn can be maintained at a proper height enabling the removal 1/3 or less of leaf blade at a time. Your Turfgrass responds to consistent mowing at the correct height by getting denser and in turn creates a healthier lawn. The platinum package offers treatments on a 30-day interval and are

Each year we conduct a soil sample analysis of our clients yards to guide our turf maintenance program designed specifically for individuals yards. The analysis will provide a soil Ph reading which we are looking to maintain a level between 6 to 7. Should your Ph be lower we will recommend Liming during Late Novemember and again early spring to raise your levels. Should your Ph be higher we will recommend a Sulfate application during the spring to lower your levels.
Turf Maintenance
Weekly Turf Maintenance
Our weekly turf maintenance programs offer weekly mowing, trimming, Vertical Edging of paved and flowerbed edges, as well as turf debris clean-up. Our typical height of cut depends on each property and our customers requests, but a typical height of cut is approx 3-3.5 inches during spring, 3.5-4 inches during summer, and 3-3.5 inches during fall. We have multiple different deck sizes and are able to accomodate most if not all fenced in back yards.
Top Dressing:
There are 3 main reasons why you would want to top dress your lawn
-To add rich organic compost to help amend soil
-Level out low spots using a 50/50 blend of top-soil and sand
-To establish a proper bedding at time of overseeding
We provide only Blue-Tag A-List seed. All seed is not created equal and we have seen to many times where customers are paying top dollar for a sub par seed. We simply refuse to offer anything but a top quality product when we seed our clients properties.
The Blue-Tag label ensures that the seed is exactly what the tag says it is and that there is no weed seeds mixed in. Next time you go to the big box store check the tag and you will see there is inert material and weed crop labeled on the bag and it wont say 0!
A-List Seed is the highest rated variety of a specific type of turf grass. Ratings are based on several factors, however, to name a few: Winter, Spring, and Summer color, turf wear resistance, drought tolerance, and frost resistance. We choose to use only A-List so that you get the best performing lawn we can possibly offer.
Aeration is the process of removing cores from the soil to create pockets/holes in the soil where water, oxygen, and nutrients can have direct access to the plants root system. A lack of oxygen available to root cells limits the amount of nutrients your turf grass can absorb. Aeration is the only process that allows oxygen and nutrients direct access to the root system! The holes formed in this process also alleviates soil compaction allowing roots to grow and fill in those voids creating a denser root system. Hands down should you do nothing else for your lawn this is one of the most important maintenance services you should choose to have done.
